Officer of Oncure Technologies Inc. (formerly US Cancer Care Inc.)
from 1990 to November 2000, when he began the initial setup of US
Cancer Management. Mr. Fuery is a Certified Public Accountant. He
began his career with Price Waterhouse in San Francisco in 1983. In
1986, Mr. Fuery developed his own tax practice and managed, on a part-time
basis, the small operations of Oncure. As the opportunities in healthcare
increased, he sold his tax practice in 1988 and began working for
Oncure full-time. From one cancer center in Central California, Mr.
Fuery developed Oncure 's oncology network throughout the US which,
at the time of his resignation, consisted of twelve cancer treatment
centers. Mr. Fuery has substantial experience in all financial aspects
of cancer care, with extensive experience in managed care.
Douglas A. McBride. Doug McBride had been recruited as the
Company's President and oversees the Information Systems and Operations.
He started with the Company on November 1st, 2001. Mr. McBride formerly
worked for US Cancer Care Inc. as its Chief Information Officer from
May 1998 to October 2001. During that time Mr. McBride was responsible
for the development and implementation of US Cancer Care's ROSCOE
and ARIS computer software systems. These systems are the predecessors
to US Cancer Management's RAMOS (Radiation and Medical Oncology Solutions)
system. Both of these system developments have proven to be invaluable
tools in cancer care management and provide a full suite of Oncology
management software including registration and demographic capture,
scheduling, market analysis and reporting, billing capture and generation,
and accounts receivable management. The RAMOS software also has a
wireless handheld interface that provides the ability for outcomes
capture and analysis and patient management. Prior to all of this,
Mr. McBride spent 13 years with Pacific Bell and Southwestern Bell
managing all facets of information systems for these telephone companies.
Under the direction of both Mr. Fuery and Mr. McBride, US Cancer Management
Corporation is involved in various projects related to the development
and management of various cancer centers nationwide. One such project
involves the building and managing cancer programs for Kaiser Health
Plan's Northern California medical group. Kaiser is the largest health
plan in the US and has over 3-million members in Northern California.
US Cancer Management Corporation was formed to develop and manage
full-service cancer treatment centers throughout Northern California.
We currently have a contract with The Permanente Medical Group, (TPMG)
Kaiser’s exclusive medical group, to develop a number of cancer centers
for them in Northern California. Additionally, we have established
hospital relationships helping these organizations manage their centers
more effectively, or in some cases, developing new cancer centers
for them. We have many years of experience in managing oncology centers.
We are very proud of the accomplishments and expertise at US Cancer
Management Corporation. We believe in providing the highest level
of care to achieve the best quality of life for our patients. This
goal can only be achieved by using management expertise to create
cancer centers that operate efficiently and effectively with the most
caring, qualified staff possible.
